Follow our steps through central London and look closely at the small, easily overlooked traces scattered across the city. They may have been left by maintenance workers, graffiti artists, construction crews, or anonymous passersby. Absorbed into the everyday landscape, they appear ordinary, accidental and insignificant.
But what if these mundane details belonged to another story? A mark on the pavement might become a sign, a repeated pattern a secret language, or an ordinary object, the remains of an unknown ritual. By observing the city through a more imaginative lens, this project explores how everyday urban life can become a space for speculation, where hidden narratives emerge from the most unremarkable details.
